directories "error" and "stats" could they be outside the website-root

Hi,
some webapps (nextcloud, matomo) will not install as long as these directories are in the website-root.
Is there a setting where these directories can be put outside the website-root?

No. But you can e.f. change the docroot of the site to be a sub folder of web.

Thanks, that is a clear answer, i can live with that, it was just a question to be sure.

I am testing if a user could run an own ispconfig-account.
Looks good depending on the users capabilities.
